SCHOOL AWARENESS PROGRAMME YWDIS volunteers conducted a series of awareness programmes on disability in various schools of Coimbatore during the year 2010. The school students were oriented on the basics of disability such as the causes, types, characteristics, educational methods, etc. The students were also provided with a handbook containing basic information on disability.
