Employers’ Meet District Employment Office, 9th July 2010 To spread out the UDIS network services on training cum placement services to the persons with disabilities in the industries and companies etc., to avail the ESI & PF benefits to the Employers and to aware the ‘Best Employer Award’ which is awarded for employing more number of persons with disabilities in their companies, an Employers’ Meet was organized on the day of the ‘Private Employers Campaign’ at District Employment Office 9th July 2010. Twenty four Employers, who have come for recruiting the candidates in the Campaign, were oriented on network concept at the Office of the Regional Deputy Director. Mrs. Latha, Regional Deputy Director gave a brief introduction about our network services and mainly the placement services of the persons with disabilities in the private sector. In this connection she also pointed out the ESI & PF benefits to the Employers and also the ‘Best Employer Award’ for providing more job opportunities for persons with disabilities in their companies. Handouts on networking concept and Employment Guidance Programme were distributed to all employers. Mr. S. Sekaran, Executive Director, UDIS Forum, Mrs. S. Barathy, Mr. R. Baba, Mr. N. C. Babu and Mr. V. Senthilkumar, UDIS Representatives organised the meet. The meeting ended with thanks to the employers, officials and employees of the District Employment Office, Coimbatore. ++ Top
